Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!
(thinks for a moment)…. I think I will keep it just the way it is. After jumping through many hoops to move my blog to a new hosting company and working till 3am to make sure it was back up and running ( if you do notice a bug, let me know so I can fix it) I can now rest assured that Fatcow, my new hosting company, which has so far given me excellent customer service (so I think they deserve the plug I am about to give them, which is why on that note, if you end up using them, drop my name as a referral please 🙂 ).
But, I will keep this generic Hello World! post for 2 reasons.
First of all, sometimes, there is value in going back to basics. Taking a moment to recalibrate, and put your thoughts together. After a much needed thanksgiving vacation, I feel a sense of rejuvenation, ready to tackle the digital world, post on my blog till my hearts content, and leave a small footprint in this enormous industry.
Secondly, this post should serve as a constant reminder of how close I was to actually starting over from the very beginning. The folks over at Fatcow, specifically Isaac (that’s right, I got to know him pretty well over the course of our phone calls), could attest as to how annoying I was. But nevertheless, although I managed to save all my old posts, it felt rather close to being deleted or lost for good.
So feeling a sense of joy, since my old posts are not lost, while simultaniously getting to start from the begining, I feel pretty good. Tired, but I feel good.
Here is to many more posts!
